    PHMC is a non-profit, public health organization committed to improving the health of the community through outreach, education, research, planning, technical assistance and direct services.

    Overview

    This key position located in the Human Resources department provides support for the HRIS and timekeeping needs for the PHMC enterprise.

    Responsibilities


    HRIS Specialist duties

    • Maintain and update the employee data base
    • Run reports utilizing the HRIS system
    • Performs group data updates, exports, imports, and maintenance
    • Creates HR requested reports using the HRIS system, UltiPro (UKG)
    • Conducts data analysis on HR data such as employment/terminations, employee classification, and/or pay data as directed.
    • Independently trouble shoot user and system related issues
    • Update and maintain the HRIS system
    • Support staff in using the HRIS data base and running queries
    • Perform other related duties as needed.

    Timekeeping Coordinator duties

    • Perform the timekeeping and related functions for the organization using automated processing systems UltiPro and Home Care Home Base
    • Prepare timekeeping tasks including reviewing, editing, and approving employee timesheets
    • Facilitate the bi-weekly timekeeping training
    • Act as a liaison between PHMC HR/Payroll team and managers/supervisors for all matters payroll and timekeeping
    • Run and review payroll and timekeeping reports
    • Prepare and export timekeeping and payroll data for bi-weekly payroll processing
    • Provide guidance and direction to users on time and attendance matters

    Skills

    • Must have outstanding Excel skills, and other MS applications.
    • Must be able to independently create and run reports using the HRIS platform
    • Must be able to work independently
    • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
    • Must be organized and meet strict deadlines
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Able to manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under short timelines
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in working through payroll and HR administrative matters and challenges.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in HRIS and timekeeping
    • Knowledge and experience with HRIS and timekeeping software and applications such as UKG/UltiPro, Kronus, PayCom or other systems.

    Education Requirement

    • High school diploma minimum education
