    Description


    American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week acute care assignment using Epic EMR.

    Details

    Acute care hospital ultrasound unit
    Average of 15–18 exams per shift
    3x12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
    Alternating weekend shifts required
    Charts in Epic EMR
    Requirements

    Minimum 2 years of sonography experience
    Current ARDMS certification (any version accepted)
    Current BLS (AHA) certification
    License required if applicable
    Driver's License required for consideration
    2 supervisor and/or peer references required for consideration — if the candidate worked a permanent position in the last 12 months, one reference must be from that facility
    Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
    Copies of certifications required for consideration
    Additional Information

    Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
    Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before re-applying
    Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year before a 2-year break is required
    Background hits must be disclosed at time of consideration
    All candidates interview directly with a unit manager
