    Description

    Position Summary:

    The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to contractor personnel assigned to the Task Order (TO). This includes task assignment, supervision of technical efforts, and overall performance management. The PM plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the TO, addressing technical and business process issues. Additionally, the PM has the authority to allocate resources, make decisions, and proactively identify and communicate potential issues to the Government.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • The PM provides leadership and guidance to contractor personnel, assigns tasks, supervises technical efforts, and manages overall TO performance.
    • Responsible for ensuring quality and efficiency of the TO, addressing technical and business process issues.
    • Authority to commit resources, make decisions, and alert the Government to potential issues.
    • Management tasks include planning, contract execution, employee evaluation, subcontractor selection, and subcontract management.
    • Conduct schedule management activities such as task definition, sequencing, estimating resources and durations, schedule development, and control.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Requirements
    • A minimum of two years of project or program management experience in OCONUS locations.

    Education:

    • Minimum requirement: BS degree in Management or a related field.

    Desired Requirements:

    • Experience in planning, directing, coordinating, and managing project methodologies similar in scope to the TO.
    • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills at the +2 level on the DLPT or equivalent.
    • PMP Certification.
    • Prior experience supporting South America, particularly SOUTHCOM AOR.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Must be a US citizen.
    • Must have a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
    • OCONUS travel may be required.

    The position is contingent upon meeting physical and medical requirements, as well as compliance with all relevant jurisdictional regulations. Specific requirements may include proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status.
