Amotec is currently searching for a

Supplier Quality Engineer .

Our client, located roughly an hour south of the Nashville, TN area, is a global leader in the automotive industry.

As a

Supplier Quality Engineer , you will be responsible for investigating, analyzing and resolving supplier quality problems by conducting audits, analyzing defect trends and leading continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities:
Communicate with suppliers and strengthen those relationships
Identify, track and resolve supplier quality problems
Review and approve PPAP documentation
Report on supplier KPI's


Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field is preferred
2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering
Previous experience in the automotive industry working with OEM's
Any experience in metals manufacturing is beneficial
