    About the Role

    The Technical coordinator is responsible for providing support to Swiss Re's Client Market/Underwriting Teams, covering the US, Canada & EC Non-Life Treaty markets. As a Technical coordinator, you will ensure that client market underwriting support activities are performed accurately, efficiently, and according to relevant timelines. The role will report to the Business Services Team Leader responsible for this team.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides treaty underwriter support for all non-client facing activities.
    • Responsible for data quality and entry in our underwriting and client management tools and systems.
    • Contract review and comparison, including referring changes. Needs to be able to read contracts and make basic extrapolations.
    • Responsible for Business Services projects and general systems responsibility.
    • Work in accordance with our compliance requirements.

    We are a friendly and diverse group of individuals located in U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Brazil with varying levels of experience in the reinsurance industry. We support North America Property and Casualty Reinsurance teams and units in delivering on their core mandates. We are part of a global team called Reinsurance Business Operations, and we work closely with our colleagues all over the world.

    About You

    Requirements

    • University graduate degree in business, accounting, finance, insurance, or related field.
    • Strong data analytics capabilities required / expert in Excel.
    • Strong Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint knowledge - Power BI skills preferred.
    • Customer and team oriented with superior time management and communication skills.
    • Ability to cope with changes in tasks and priorities.
    • Reliable and self-reliant task manager.
