Enterprise Architect

This is a 100% remote role that requires 12+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading enterprise-wide architectural initiatives and providing technical stewardship for multiple software development projects or programs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in building and integrating information and computer systems that meet specific needs. This involves selecting the most appropriate technology for a problem, balancing architectural concerns with business considerations, and recommending solutions that result in more effective systems.

Selecting technology to solve business problems
Choosing frameworks, platforms, and tech-stacks for solution creation
Designing application components and interactions
Ensuring scalability and infrastructure stability
Evaluating third-party framework and platform advantages and risks

A key responsibility of this role is working on proof-of-concepts (POCs) and showcasing them to customers and business users. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the financial domain and be proficient in Agile framework and SAFE Agile process / ART.

In terms of skills, the ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge in designing applications using Java, Microservices, Message Queue (MQ), NoSQL databases, application integration, and middleware services. A certification in TOGAF is preferred. Very good communication skills are essential for presenting architectural designs to management.

Please note that a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is required for this role.

Requirements

12+ years of experience
Experience in the financial domain
Proficiency in Agile framework and SAFE Agile process / ART
Good technical knowledge in designing applications using Java, Microservices, MQ, NoSQL databases, application integration, and middleware services
Certification in TOGAF is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field

The estimated salary for this role is $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
