    Description

    Job Title: Local Contract Nurse RN

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a local contract nursing job in an ICU - Intensive Care Unit setting.

    About the Job:

    • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit
    • Discipline: RN

    The ideal candidate will have 2 years of bedside experience, with critical drips, trachs, ventilator experience required. Experience working on a stepdown floor is also beneficial.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Demonstrate expertise in delivering organized care to patients with varying acuity levels.
    Patient Ratios:
    Typical load is 4-5:1
    High acuity patients will result in a 2-3:1 EPIC EHR System:
    Draw labs independently
    Use Omnicell for Med dispense Orientation: 
    One 12-hour shift orientation Expected after that one shift, you are expected to take your own team of patients.
    Skill Requirements include but not limited to Critical Drips Vasopressin Levophed Dopamine Sedations Vents HHF Vapotherm Working knowledge of OMNICELL The nurse must be able to handle a patient assignment and deliver organised care The contract is an eleven-week contract
