Job Summary
Highwayy Logistics LLC is seeking experienced and reliable 26ft Box Truck Owner Operators to join our growing logistics team. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining compliance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 26ft box truck to transport general freight between assigned pickup and delivery locations.
- Maintain strict adherence to FMCSA Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper maintenance.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff.
- Secure loads properly to prevent damage or shifting during transport.
- Keep accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and expenses.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery according to assigned schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the vehicle.
Requirements
- Must own or lease a 26ft box truck in good working condition (with lift gate preferred).
- Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record.
- Active USDOT and MC number (or willingness to operate under our company authority).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and customer service.
- Must be compliant with FMCSA regulations and maintain up-to-date ELD (Electronic Logging Device) records.
Compensation & Fees
- Competitive load pay based on route and mileage.
- $500 weekly MC lease-on fee (for owner operators running under Highwayy Logistics authority).
- $80 monthly ELD fee (for use of company-provided ELD system).
- Weekly settlements via direct deposit.
