    Responsibilities



    Key Responsibilities: The physician will record detailed medical histories for each patient in the electronic medical record, including chief complaints, current conditions, personal histories, and family histories. They will also conduct thorough physical examinations and analyze test results to diagnose injuries or illnesses and formulate prognoses.



    NORTON CHILDREN'S RHEUMATOLOGY, part of Norton Children's Medical Group and affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is looking for a leader to become the division chief of pediatric rheumatology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine and Norton Children's.



    The new chief will lead a dynamic team focused on catering to children's needs through clinical care and research. The UofL School of Medicine's Department of Pediatrics Division of Rheumatology has collaborated with Norton Children's Medical Group for nearly a century to provide patient care, train future doctors, conduct research, and innovate in child healthcare.


    The ideal candidate will join a committed team of clinicians aiming to fulfill children's needs through a blend of clinical care and research. The division chief will mentor junior faculty and trainees, drive growth in clinical areas, expand scholarly activities, and create a supportive work environment that promotes team retention and success.

    Qualifications



    • Medical degree and certification
