    Work Hours:
    Monday-Friday: 7:30am - 4:00pm. Must be flexible to meet client needs.

    Base Pay:
    $47, ,000/year based upon experience/licensure

    Minimum Qualifications:
    At minimum must hold either a LMSW or PLPC* Provisional License.


    • For those obtaining a PLPC, confirmation of successful passing of your NCE is acceptable until supervision has been identified.


    Community Counseling Center is happy to announce that we are expanding our Youth Day Treatment Programs to the Perryville School District.

    While we are in need of a Youth Day Treatment Therapist for this new program, the person hired for this position can expect to be based out of our STG YDT location (potentially Cape or Jackson YDT dependent upon need/candidate location) until the new program has started in the fall.

    This will allow for comprehensive training as we prep for the program to go live.

    The Youth Day Treatment program provides services to youth in grades K-5th who require a step-down or an alternative to inpatient care or partial hospitalization, or as transitional care following an inpatient or partial hospitalization stay in order to facilitate return to the community or to prevent or minimize the need for more intense or restrictive level of treatment.

    The Day Treatment Program provides services that are more intensive than outpatient treatment and will serve persons who need a structured, behavioral health setting for daytime activities.

    The Job

    The Youth Day Treatment Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment of children and families.

    They will facilitate therapeutic activities based on the childs treatment plan and be a member of the childs Treatment Team.

    Essential Functions


    • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy with assigned clients.
    • Work with an integrated treatment team, including case managers and the psychiatrist to provide consistent care.
    • Work alongside school staff to meet the needs of the students/clients.
    • Maintain records according to clinical policies and procedures in a timely fashion.
    • Assist with psychological evaluations.
    • Communicate with parents/guardians with the needs, behaviors, etc of the child.
    Non Essential Functions


    • Maintain compliance with all policy and procedures.
    • Complete all required training.
    • Work cooperatively with other departments and members of the community.
    • Attend both clinical and administrative meetings as required.
    • Conduct parent psychoeducation group.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Required Qualifications


    • Masters degree in social work, counseling, or related human services field.
    • Valid provisional license required(LMSW or PLPC); License preferred,
    • Experience working with children and families, as well as skills necessary to facilitate positive change in a school environment.
    • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license required.
