Description

Paradigm is searching for an Electrical Engineer to support our client, a leader in the wood processing machinery manufacturing industry.

In this role, you will undertake engineering, designing, and technical tasks to facilitate the delivery of small to large heavy industrial projects.

• Support proposal preparation and scope development.
• Manage project delivery across all phases, from concept to start-up, including construction and commissioning support.
• Conduct calculations, studies, and reports (, grounding, lighting protection, load studies, arc flash).
• Develop equipment specifications for procurement.
• Collaborate with other disciplines (Civil/Structural, Mechanical) for design coordination.
• Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers and team members, ensuring high-quality engineering deliverables consistent with project standards and safety requirements.
• Maintain regular correspondence with clients and external personnel.
• Offer short-term field support during construction.
• Contribute to power distribution design and Arc Flash reports
