    Overview:

    SUMMARY OF POSITION

    This position is responsible for developing & executing sales strategies to grow Sales, convert End User, and educate store level personnel on the Pro-Paint segment in a defined territory/geography.

    Activities include face-to-face visits with customers and contractors to build awareness and develop relationships.


    In addition, this position is responsible for sales, distribution, and promotion of specific products to accounts and activations of Pro-Paint program within an assigned territory to meet/exceed assigned sales volume, product category, and project-based campaigns objectives.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelors degree in business or related field.
    At least five years of outside sales experience in a business-to-consumer environment.
    Proven track record in growing customer base.
    Excellent presentation skills.
    Strong sales and decision-making skills.
    Acute attention to detail.
    Ability to prioritize work projects.
    Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
    Comfort working with all levels of individuals.
    Effective time management skills.
    Good working knowledge of CRM (SalesForce),

    Excel, Word and PowerPoint and interest and ability to learn company specific programs.
    Proven success in working independently.
    Ability to travel 60-70% within primary territory, 5-10% outside of territory
    Bilingual (Spanish), strongly preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Sales
    Grow and develop the customer base/revenue through support of all sales activity within a defined territory.
    Acquire, identify and qualify new customers and leads within a defined territory. Also, responsible for planning and executing marketing campaigns to generate new prospects, improve client retention and drive sales.

    Lead all aspects of the sales process, while calling upon other company sales resources to assist in solution development, proposal delivery, and implementation as needed or as directed.

    Effective at connecting business needs to solutions; listens to prospects and responds with how our solution could address their needs.

    Research and evaluate new accounts and generate a follow through on sales leads.
    Develop and present customer specific presentations.
    Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest trends and sales developments.
    Direct and support the consistent implementation of company initiatives and programs.
    Maintain and expand customer database within your assigned territory.
    Communicate directly with key and potential customers informing them of trends, special promotions, new products and product improvements.
    Participate in the field sales reporting protocol including prospect information and summary of touch points.
    Relationships
    Build and maintain strong customer relationships including key decision-makers.
    Identify, develop and leverage centers of influence.
    Build peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel including at the customer's corporate office.
    Determine product/service value delivered throughout customer operations and effectively communicate value to customers.
    Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts in conjunction with sales.
    Provide a management-level point of contact for key customers.
    Other duties as assigned.
