Design hardware for system and detailed circuit design for space-based high-reliability electronic systems including modeling simulation analysis worst case circuit analysis parts stress analysis reliability signal integrity risk mitigation digital designs with architectures utilizing FPGAs microprocessors soft-core processors digital filters image processing algorithms high speed SERDES communication interfaces protocols like XAUI sRIO PCIe SpaceWire for communication data processing a variety of sensors focal planes detectors gimbals phased arrays analog designs with architectures focusing on general analog mixed signal power supply electronic design design implement test fixtures test plans chip-level board level environments reusable circuits utilized across multiple projects work Parts Engineers select approve EEE parts meet program requirements lead support anomaly debug determination root cause corrective actions work closely printed wiring board packaging layout engineers interface systems engineers define functional performance requirements lead electronics box integration test space-based high-reliability electronics systems understand system box requirements flow down requirements printed wiring assemblies FPGAs SW within box assembly create box architecture electrical design guide oversee printed wiring assembly FPGA designs interdependencies facilitate EEE part choices replacements ensure analyses accurate adequate buy off requirements oversee box integration support development STE design verify test plan procedures accurate adequate buy off requirements lead support anomaly debug determination root cause corrective actions provide Requirements Verification Matrix RVM delivery documentation review schedule forecast technical scope provide input project engineer box execution plan proactively identify schedule technical risks bring program attention provide technical mentoring early career engineers promote strong team participation key aspects project mentoring junior team members maintain regular predictable work schedule establish maintain effective working relationships department Strategic Business Units Strategic Capabilities Units Company interact appropriately others maintain positive productive work environment perform duties necessary
