    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry position requiring a KY or compact license and strong telemetry skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in the Med Surg/Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
    • Patient ratios typically range from 1:5 to 1:6
    • Utilizes Meditech EMR system
    • Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
    • Schedules alternate weekly between 36 and 48 hours
    • Bi-weekly orientation provided
    • Responsibilities include providing care for adult Med Surg and telemetry patients
    • No local candidates accepted according to radius rule
    • Travel pairs generally not permitted except under special circumstances
    • Holiday and weekend hours may be required as part of the rotation
    • Dress code and additional onboarding details provided prior to assignment start

    Requirements

    • Active KY or compact RN license required
    • Minimum of 2 years current Med Surg/Telemetry experience
    • Current BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only), and NIH Certification required
    • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
