POSITION SUMMARY:
[ This position works with the substance use, mental health, and criminal justice population by providing detoxification, medication management, recovery counseling, mental health services, and linkage to other Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) services. This position works alongside counselors to provide individual and group counseling services, teaching strategies for living a substance free life and aiding in establishing a relapse prevention plan as part of a long-term approach to recovery. [ [The clients served in this program have a variety of criminogenic, social, and psychiatric needs which are addressed through coordination between
BCIForensic Counselors, Case Managers, and other external agencies. [ [The applicant selected for this position must be comfortable routinely working in a team setting and be able to manage the clients on the unit. [ [The Detoxification (Detox) Unit is funded by revenue appropriated by the State of Florida and Okaloosa County and your employment is contingent upon continued funding of this program. [[
BCIis seeking applicants for our Detox team. This position will help manage day-to-day operations of
BCIDetox Unit in Fort Walton Beach (FWB). [[Applicants must have good observation skills, enthusiastic personality, ability to work well with behavioral health patients, and a true motivation to help others in the community. [[The Recovery Charge Nurse (RCN) serves as a member of the
BCImanagement team and provides leadership, direction, and oversight to the Detox Unit. The position is responsible for the overall business operations, strategy, and success of the integrated primary care medical practice. The RCN works with physician and practitioner staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and oversees operations to ensure effective, compliant practice operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong healthcare background and be a motivated self-starter with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. [[The RCN will provide supervision, and direction to associates. The RCN will report directly to the Detox Program Director (DPD).
