    Firmware Engineer

    Contract:6+ Month

    Job Desription:

    This small team of amazing engineers designs and produces precise RF & Analog Test Equipment for use in calibrating and testing cellular, 5G, Wifi, Bluetooth, mmWave, UWB & NFC radios in millions of devices.

    The products are based on platforms that run RTOS, embedded Linux & bare metal FW on ARM based processors.

    You will work with other cross-functional team members - RF system engineers, SW engineers, DSP engineers, FPGA logic designers & HW engineers to design/ develop embedded SW that is instrumental in creating products loved all over the globe.


    Required:
    1. Experience designing embedded FW in C or C++.
    2. Experience with ARM processors.
    3.

    Recent dev experience in one or more of the following areas:
    Linux,
    parallel processing, multi-core or multi-threaded SW development.
    4. Experience developing FW for one or more of the following chip
    level interface standards is desirable: USB, SPI, I2C, UART, SDIO,
    PCIe.
    5. Ability to use lab equipment - JTAG, Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscope,
    Spectrum Analyzer etc.


    Pluses:
    1. Knowledge and understanding of RF fundamentals.
    2. Experience with USB.
    3. Experience with LTE or 5G Physical layer.
    4. Experience developing FW for wireless communications standards.


    Pay Rate :
    $80-85/hr, W2
