    Position Overview

    Works with the Facility & Safety Manager of Support Services to assist in directing the department to ensure proper working order, cleanliness, sanitation, and attractiveness of multiple campuses as well as performing the following duties through Support Services team members or personally where applicable.

    Responsibilities:

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
    -Support Facilities & Safety Manager in daily operations
    -Work with Leadership to ensure appropriate Facilities staffing
    - Support Facilities Leadership in Human Resource matters
    - Maintain office supply closet (supplies), medical cabinets, fleet medical satchels
    - Rotate Weekly On-Call with other Facilities Staff, as require
    Support Facilities:
    -Necessary material/equipment procurement obtain approval from Managing Director or Assistant Director
    - Monthly inspections
    - Bills Place, Rose Center, School Assistant Facilities & Safety Manager
    - Cottages, Admin, Bower Environmental Services Manager
    - Brunswick, Paidias, Coteswood TBD Dogwood Supervisor
    - Research supplies/materials as requested for Facilities
    - When necessary, coordinate maintenance activities directly by pulling emails, delegating daily assignments and replying to Facilities emails, once completed
    - Daily participation in morning meetings with Facilities
    - Assist with all aspects of the new hires in Facilities
    - Facilities - Lock Out Tag Out maintain completed forms & training
    - Facilities assist with assigned trainings in Learning Center
    - Maintain communication with Waste Pro / trash services
    - Assist with the maintenance of Facilities Shared Sites, as needed
    - Fire & Safety Inspections, Vehicle Inspections, Shambaugh & Son, etc
    - When necessary, contact vendors to obtain missing/current reports or schedule us for needed services based on quarterly, bi-annual, or yearly requirements for Mental Health, JACHO, etc
    - Fill in for Facilities Manager during absences
    - Printing, distributing & replying to Facilities emails
    - Maintain Sign In/Sign Out for Contractor Keys
    - Maintain Sign In/Sign Out for Gas Cards & Lowes Cards
    - Maintain updated vendor contact sheet & Support Services Contact List
    - Review / Post On-call calendar, once per year
    - Ensure Clean / Organized Shop
    - Meet with vendors / contractors, as required
    - Attend / Participate in Quarterly Safety Committee meetings
    - Any other duties assigned by Facilities Manager

    Qualifications:

    Prefer at least 5 years' experience in the facilities / maintenance field. Managerial experience preferred.

    This position requires a valid drivers license.
