- Conduct electrical, mechanical, and optical tests on a variety of products, including electronic devices, automotive components, and medical equipment
- Analyze test data and identify potential defects or non-conformances
- Prepare detailed test reports and maintain accurate records of all testing activities
- Develop and implement test procedures and protocols
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to test equipment and testing processes
- Assist in the design and development of new test methods and procedures
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in electrical, mechanical, and optical testing
- Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and quality control personnel
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and optical testing
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and optical principles and testing techniques
- Proficient in operating and maintaining a wide range of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and optical instruments
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as UL, CSA, and ISO
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
