Physical Therapy Assistant needed for acute care setting in Mountain Home, AR

13 weeks

Days; Mon-Fri; 3rd Weekend Rotations (Fri & Mon Off per Weekend Worked)

EMR: Cerner

SUMMARY: Promotes and maintains each patient's health by providing physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Graduate of and degree holder from a Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education

Preferred experience: 12 to 18 months related experience, excluding clinical affiliations required to complete a degree

Certifications: Current Arkansas PTA license in good standing required Current CPR certification

Located in northern Arkansas, this 268-bed facility provides comprehensive health services to the region. The facility had the nation's first 3-D Mobile Mammography Unit and is a leader in imaging and mammography services. With breathtaking mountain views and several area lakes and rivers, you will find plenty of options for boating, water skiing, hiking, biking, and backpacking. The area also features an award winning golf course and world-class fishing.
