    Entry Level Toolmaker/CNC Mill Setup- Minneapolis MN

    1st shift Monday-Friday 6am- 2:30pm

    Wage: $25hr

    BGC and DT are Required.

    General Description: Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers as you receive on-the-job training.

    Main Duties/Responsibilities:


    • Operation of a Makino CNC Machining Center (Setup & Operation)


    • Edit CAM programs/offsets (at machine control or desk top computer)


    • Operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)


    • Operate manual machining centers (Bridgeport, Drill Press, Lathe, Surface Grinders, etc.)


    • Use various measuring equipment (Micrometers, Calipers, Shadowgraph, CMM etc.)


    • Reading, understanding and machining from CAD drawings


    • Assemble molds
    • Preform and document in-process inspection


    • Regular and consistent attendance Additional Duties & Responsibilities:


    • Keep machine area neat and orderly


    • Operate machine shop hand equipment (Drills, Hand Grinders, Cut Off Saw, etc.)


    • Mold polishing
    • Lift and carry op to 50 pounds on a regular basis


    • Work while standing extended periods of time


    • Maintain a tidy work area and shop


    • Ability to work independently


    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

    Prerequisite Qualifications:


    • One to two years Technical College (currently attending)


    • Good math skills


    • Blue Print reading skills


    • Computer literate


    • Master Cam Experience is desired but not necessary


    • Manual Mill and Lathe Operation
