    Product Marketing Manager, Product Compliance - New York, United States - META

    In this role, you will be responsible for helping to shape roadmaps and develop and execute against launch plans for the internal products, tools, and processes that power Meta's ability to innovate amidst growing regulatory pressure.

    You must have proven experience driving requirements into planning in partnership with Product teams, as well as the ability to build alignment across a complex network of internal stakeholders, such as operations, policy, legal, research, design, comms and internal customers.

    You will demonstrate out-of-the-box thinking in how to creatively simplify and amplify compliance efforts internally through an innovative use of channels and formats.

    To do so, you will need to have a keen understanding of how our platform and internal governance, risk and compliance systems are constructed, as well as the ability to dive deep into technical features to educate internal parties.

    You must be motivated by building consensus through strong quantitative reasoning and an ability to structure qualitative feedback into an overarching viewpoint.

    You should also be an avid learner in areas like accountability, designing with privacy in mind and how new technology innovations will further push the need for compliance focused product strategies.


    Required Skills:

    Product Marketing Manager, Product Compliance & Privacy Responsibilities:
    Work closely with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure internal customers of the Product Compliance & Privacy org are represented and heard

    Influence and build relationships with product leadership to drive close collaboration on roadmaps and marketing plans

    Shape internal and external framing/narratives for cross-company compliance work


    Collaborate closely with research and analytics teams to develop audience insights for the business, identify gaps and product opportunities, craft customer positioning and messaging, and inform product roadmap and marketing strategy.


    Develop and execute go-to-market plans to launch new products, collaborating closely with product, partnerships, comms, creative functions and other cross-functional teams to determine effective launch and activation strategies — including rollout sequencing, creative asset development, and communication goals to drive key metrics.


    Define metrics and report on the performance and impact of our marketing initiatives, communicating strategy, results and learnings to key stakeholders.

    Build cross-company frameworks for shaping compliance requirements (i.e. taxonomies and definitions)

    Be willing and able to flex between strategic and tactical/execution responsibilities.

    Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications:
    BA/BS degree

    10+ years experience with 3+ years experience working in a communications, product marketing, product strategy or equivalent function (partnered with product management and/or engineering to represent market requirements)

    Quantitative analytical experience and communication skills

    Experience leveraging consumer insights and data to drive product marketing strategy.

    Experience partnering and influencing product management, compliance operations, technical functions and executives.

    Experience managing large, complex programs within a cross-functional environment, spanning multiple groups within a complex organization


    Proven track record of thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a high ownership mindset to deliver measurable impact.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience working in large technical companies.

    Experience managing products and policies that involve privacy and data use, security and integrity.

    Experience in building and supporting product solutions for highly regulated industries (i.e finance, healthcare, etc.)


    Public Compensation:
    $158,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
