    Qualifications:
    1. Must have valid Paraprofessional Certification
    2. Must have Valid Nevada driver license
    3. CPR and First Aid certified, preferred
    4. Experience in English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies preferred.
    5. The candidate demonstrates:
      • A high level of professional commitment to the NCSD and PVHS vision and areas of academic focus;
      • Leadership skills and the ability to work closely and cooperatively with other team members;
      • A strong insight and understanding of the needs of middle school students;
      • The ability to work collaboratively and communicate with diverse groups;
      • A belief that all students can learn along with the belief that teachers impact outcom
    Job Description:

    • Work closely and cooperatively with teachers in the program, the coordinator and all PVHS administration, to structure the best learning environment for all students;

    • Work with individual students or small groups to conduct instruction assigned by the teacher;

    • Assist with supervision of students, grading, and organizing of assignments as requested;

    • Participate in and provides opportunities for collaborative decision-making within both the team and the school environments;

    • Assist with the development and updates of any necessary communication between the team and the coordinator(s), students, parents
    Salary Range: Current Hourly Rate

    General Information: May 30, Prep day for content and classrooms. Days with students will be Monday through Thursday June 3rd - 6th, 10th - 13th, 17th - 20th, and 24th - 27th from 7:45 am to 12:15pm. Students will attend 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
