    Overview

    GovCIO is currently hiring forDevSecOps Engineer to integrate security practices into DevSecOps. This position will be located in Arlington, Virginia and will be a fully remote position.

    Responsibilities

    • Defines, develops and deploys the pipeline and cloud hosting services infrastructure including the tools, technologies, and workflows that are used to automate the software development process
    • Designs, architects and implements privacy and security best practices within each stage of the pipeline, including code scanning, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
    • Aligns and develops the DevSecOps best practices and incorporates them into the pipeline, including automation, continuous testing, and continuous deployment
    • Leads the development teams to ensure that security gates, build automation and testing are being successfully implemented via the Pipeline
    • Addresses any architectural and operational issues within Pipeline or cloud hosting platform

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's with 12+ years networking experience
    • AWS Certified, using different services that are used for software development, containers and securing containers
    • Experience creating, designing, installing DevSecOps Platform and CI/CD pipelines using different technologies
    • Experience in any of the following tools Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab DevOps or GitActions
    • Experience with containers, Kubernetes platforms, securing containers using scanning to identify vulnerabilities
    • Clearance Required: Secret with ability to secure and maintain DEA Suitability

    Posted Pay Range

    The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

    USD $185, USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
