    Aerotek is currently hiring for long-term food service opportunities with a hospital in St. Louis City. This is a long-term opportunity that has the potential for fantastic benefits and career/leadership growth. There are openings for cooks, dishwashers, and tray passers.

    Job Descriptions:

    Dishwashers will be:

    • Loading/unloading commercial dishwashing machines
    • Washing dishes and cutlery by hand
    • Stocking dishes/cutlery in storage containers for future use
    • Provide excellent customer service to the entire campus community

    Cooks will be responsible for:

    • Setting up workspaces with all necessary ingredients and equipment
    • Cooking and preparing foods via a variety of methods, including ovens, stoves, deep fryers, etc.
    • Ensuring proper food presentation
    • Being mindful of all allergens and cross-contaminants
    • Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen as necessary
    • Providing excellent customer service to all members of the campus community

    Tray-Passers will be responsible for:

    • Passing trays to patrons in the cafeteria
    • Delivering used trays to the dishwashers in the kitchen
    • Cleaning the kitchen
    • Answering patrons' questions
    • Delivering food orders to patients' rooms

    Shifts Available

    • 6:00am - 2:00pm
    • 11:30am - 7:30pm
    • 12:00pm - 8:30pm
    • 2:00pm - 10:30pm
    • 3:00pm - 11:30pm

    *Other shifts, including shifts on different days of the week and at different mid-day/evening times could become available*

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • Previous food service/dishwashing experience from a restaurant, cafeteria, or another similar facility
    • Teamwork mentality
    • Candidates that have spent long periods of time and their previous roles will be preferred
