    THE JOB:

    As a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor at MGM Resorts, your main responsibility is to ensure the efficient operation of designated housekeeping areas. Your role is crucial in enhancing the guest experience and creating memorable moments that last long after their stay.

    THE DAY-TO-DAY:

    • Oversee Operations
      • Ensure smooth area operation.
      • Monitor performance and efficiency.
    • Supervision and Training
      • Supervise, train, and assist employees.
      • Distribute workload equitably.
    • Briefings and Meetings
      • Conduct daily briefings with staff.
      • Schedule regular meetings for operational discussions.
    • Cleanliness and Maintenance
      • Maintain cleanliness in various areas.
      • Perform inspections according to standards.
      • Regular visual inspections of rooms and public spaces.
    • Productivity Monitoring
      • Monitor staff productivity.
      • Report productivity matters to management.
    • Counseling and Discipline
      • Address policy violations.
      • Provide feedback on responsibilities and guest service.

    THE SCHEDULE:

    This role involves a flexible day/swing shift schedule:

    Day: 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

    Swing: 2:30 pm to 12:00 am

    Availability needed on weekends and holidays.

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

    • Communication: Clear and concise.

    • Team-Oriented and Driven: Motivates and collaborates effectively.
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years in hospitality.
