Job summary

A QRV (Quick Response Vehicle) paramedic responds from a rapid response vehicle that is equipped to provide emergency medical care in both the emergency and non-emergency environment.

Responsibilities

  • A QRV paramedic will rendezvous with another med unit typically staffed with a BLS-level crew and provide ALS care on scene and throughout transport.
  • Maintains all ambulance equipment and vehicle to ensure it is clean and in proper working condition.
  • Frequent interruptions work pressure difficult personalities irregularities in work schedule are expected.
