    Summary:
    Directs and coordinates administrative support services within a specific business unit or geographic location. Familiar with a variety of the company's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude expected. Typically reports to senior manager. Perform all other duties as required.


    Responsibilities:
    Interact with local managers and supervisors to ensure excellent service is delivered and expectations are met.
    Recruit qualified administrative candidates for open positions.
    Conduct orientation for new hires and temporary staff.
    Create and maintain budget for temporary personnel, overtime and other expenditures.
    Update employee databases on a regular basis.
    May supervise summer interns and temporary employees as required.
    Conduct and deliver bi-annual evaluations for staff
    Establish and cultivate positive relationships with administrative staff and internal clients.
    Work in conjunction with other administrative functions to meet the needs of our clients.
    Consult with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues.
    Coach and counsel staff on developmental needs. Continually motivating your staff.
    Ensure client satisfaction and Service First concept is being implemented by your staff.
    Encourage staff to attend training classes.
    Learn and understand responsibilities of other members of the management team.
    Participate in manager specialty committees.
    Act as back up for manager colleagues in their absence.
    Determine and deliver compensation to staff.
    Responsible for all operational functions relating to this position


    Requirements


    Qualifications/Competencies/Experience:
    Supervises the daily activities of business support, technical, or production staff in an assigned area. Resolves standard and non-standard problems. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors. Three to five years of experience in a management position. Proactive and service oriented. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Proven ability to interact with all levels of personnel, both internally and externally. Typically does not perform the work being supervised
    Has formal supervisory responsibilities
    Has in-depth knowledge of work processes and tools within own area
    Uses operational and supervisory expertise to solve problems within own area
    Interprets customer needs and assesses requirements
    Sets day-to-day direction for employees to support business objectives
    Works within budget to meet operational objectives set by manager
    Resolves routine problems using defined processes and own experience
    Coordinates resources to meet short-term objectives
    Sets priorities for employees to meet deadlines
    Explains difficult issues and obtains agreement as needed
    Manages performance of employees through task assignments, ongoing skill assessment and coaching.
