Description
This is a unique opportunity for a litigator with both in-house and law firm experience to assist with employment and general litigation needs at a healthcare company focused on virtual care.
The successful candidate must have prior experience litigating labor & employment and other general litigation matters. Prior in-house experience managing outside litigation counsel and budgets is preferred. Experience working in the healthcare industry is also preferred. This will be an engagement for 40 hours per week from mid-January to the beginning of March. This is a completely remote position.Responsibilities of the In-House Litigation Counsel with Labor & Employment Experience
Assist in overseeing strategy and defense of labor & employment and general litigation lawsuits
Manage outside counsel related to existing litigation
Manage incident tracking and reporting
Advise General Counsel and business leadership on labor & employment and other general litigation matters
Advise business units and functional support on labor & employment and other general litigation matters
Requirements for In-House Litigation Counsel with Labor & Employment Experience
At least 10 years of litigation experience, preferably with both a law firm litigation practice group as well as in-house within a corporate legal department
Experience working at a healthcare company
Experience litigating labor & employment cases
J.D. from accredited, preferably top-tier, law school
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Position Details for In-House Litigation Counsel with Labor & Employment Experience

Contract from mid-January to the beginning of March

Anywhere in the US - completely remote position

Compensation
The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $170,000 to $200,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location.
In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan.
Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.Confidentiality
