Crisis Clinician- TSCF - Sacramento - Children's Receiving Home

Description

The Crisis Clinician is a vital member of our team at the Childrens Receiving Home, providing individual crisis services and stabilization for youth in protective custody.

This role involves working closely with the Welcome Center team, county social workers, and community providers to develop treatment plans and provide trauma-informed clinical support to children who have experienced complex trauma. The clinician will assess clients needs, provide crisis counseling, facilitate therapy sessions, and collaborate with collateral parties to ensure optimal care.

Maintaining accurate records is essential in this position. Daily progress notes must be written for each service contact and therapy session provided. Additionally documentation including individual client plans mental health questionnaires discharge reports must also be completed as required.

Education background experience knowledge skills are paramount for this role A Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work or Psychology Counseling Marriage Family Child Counseling is necessary along with 2 years experience working with children adolescents families LCSW LPCC LMFT license registration preferred but not mandatory.
