    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Security Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day application support needs of our internal customers. Works collaboratively with business customers and other technology specialists to define and support business processes through information technology solutions, with a thorough knowledge of areas of focus and experience in both testing and creating testing plans.

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Bachelor's degree in computer science, clinical, or business discipline. Or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training, and experience, required

    + Two (2) years of software or hardware experience including design, configuration, training or implementing applications required

    + Healthcare operations background preferred

    + Evidence of valid Arizona drivers license and current auto insurance

    + Ability to maintain confidentiality and perform in a responsible ethical manner

    + Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety for all specialty behavioral health locations

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Research the latest in information technology security trends to keep up to date with the subject and use the latest technology to protect information

    + Develop a security plan for best standards and practices in the company

    + Collaborate with stakeholders and constituents to collect a list of ideas and potential projects to improve the current systems

    + Develop subject matter expertise on system capabilities, upgrades, and new releases

    + Think creatively to design and create new ways for using the system features.

    + Administer system security and user roles and assignments

    + Provide end user support, including trouble-shooting, report maintenance and development

    + Analyze reporting needs, create specifications, and assist in the maintenance and development of reports and self-service reporting solutions

    + Prepare ad-hoc reports and queries as needed

    + Identify opportunities and implement changes to streamline reporting

    + Develop and document administrative and maintenance processes and procedures

    + Evaluate, test, trouble-shoot, and deploy system updates, patches, and upgrades

    + Create end user training on day-to-day operations and applications

    + Make recommendations to managers and senior executives about security advancements to best protect the companys systems

    + Help co-workers when they need to install a new program or learn about security procedures

    + Review and update security policies and procedures on needed

    + Assist with yearly audit procedures

    NONESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    + Certifications relating to software applications, technology infrastructure and or clinical specializations are an advantage

    + Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite of applications

    + Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project or similar applications

    + Experience with clinical or business workflow analysis for the development of electronic solutions with assigned application preferred

    Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time when traveling to various clinic sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee may be subject to health hazards (contagious diseases, blood borne pathogens, etc.) when working in the clinic area.
