- Current Minnesota licensure as a Mental Health Professional (e.g., LICSW, LP, LPCC, and LMFT) as defined by Minnesota Statute subd. 18, clause 1-6.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Ability to provide clinical supervision to other behavioral health staff.
- Ability to independently formulate and implement an individualized treatment plan; provide behavioral health treatment and clinical supervision; and develop a continuing care plan.
- Knowledge of professional, legal, and ethical standards; best practices; and community standards of care.
- Skills in verbal and written communication, including proficient documentation skills.
- Interpersonal/human relations skills.
- Basic personal computer skills.

- Experience working in a correctional/secured environment.
- One year of experience post-master's degree or higher (as defined above) providing mental health clinical services
- Experience treating clients with co-occurring disorders.

Provide direct licensed independent clinical behavioral health professional services and consultation in a state correctional facility. Duties include performing assessment, including diagnostic assessments, therapeutic interventions, and treatment planning of clients. This position will consult with and advise on program development and will be assigned more complex clinical cases.
This position has direct contact with incarcerated individuals in a Minnesota Correctional Facility (MCF) - Shakopee.

Additional Requirements
The selection process may include screening the top candidate(s) on their criminal history, predatory offender registration, offender associations and/or other applicable background information in accordance with Department of Corrections' policy.
Top candidate(s) must pass a criminal history check which includes successful completion of all sentencing and/or restitution requirements of law enforcement jurisdictions, including probation.
Employment history/reference checks, including incidents of sexual harassment, will also be conducted on the top candidate(s) in accordance with Department of Corrections' policy.
New employees will be fingerprinted within the first 30 days of employment.
