    Calder Casino is an energetic, growing organization that is looking for talented, customer service driven individuals to join the team. Our Marketing Specialist will be collaborating with the Players Club, Advertising Agency, Corporate, and other departments to create social media content and e-mail campaigns. In addition, our specialist will participate in our promotions and events, capturing the fun and excitement of the guests and Team Members alike Join Bigger. Better.     FUNCTION

    The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the email marketing and social media initiatives at Calder Casino, along with the trafficking and execution of advertising and marketing projects.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Bilingual copywriting and proofreading for promotional materials, social media, email campaigns, and website content.
    • Work closely with our database team on the planning and execution of all email marketing campaign strategies to support promotions, events, new games, and special offers.
    • Managing and updating the department social media calendar.
    • Developing relevant, unique, and engaging content for our social media platforms.
    • Monitoring all social channels for guest feedback and responding as needed.
    • Fostering dialogue on our social platforms to create interactive relationships with our guests.
    • Working with our advertising agency to measure the effectiveness of our social efforts.
    • Coordinating and trafficking marketing projects with our advertising agency.
    • Assisting with casino events and promotions as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Fully bilingual and able to read, write, and speak English and Spanish proficiently is a requirement.
    • High level of professionalism with the ability to react well under pressure.
    • Adherence to Code of Conduct and all Calder Casino policies and procedures.
    • Maintain and promote our business strategy.
    • Maintain an open-door policy for Team Members to allow open communication.
    • Guest relations and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact with internal departments.
    • Ability to exercise sound business judgment and generate effective solutions quickly as necessary.

    EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bilingual - English and Spanish written and oral fluency required.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or similar field, and one to two years of relevant experience is preferred. A combination of some education and 2 years of relevant professional-level work experience will also be considered.
    • Strong computer skills with a fundamental knowledge of email marketing platforms, preferably Salesforce.
    • Familiarity with Adobe Products, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat preferred.
    • Familiarity with a content management system, preferably WordPress.
    • Familiarity with SEO and Google Analytics preferred.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
