Non-Invasive Imaging Specialist - Cardiac & Vascular

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with 8-hour rotating shifts that include call and weekends.

Job Description

The Non-Invasive Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing various non-invasive imaging procedures in both Cardiac and Vascular Laboratories. The role requires attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive imaging procedures such as echocardiograms, TEE, TTE, stress echo, and vascular duplex studies.
• Prioritize patient scheduling to ensure timely completion of procedures.
• Provide accurate and courteous information to patients and families regarding procedures.
• Document procedures performed in the patient chart for physician review.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the procedure areas.
• Notify medical staff of any abnormalities in imaging results.
• Calculate and measure cardiovascular structures to assist in diagnosis.
• Ensure proper billing through the EPIC system.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all operational guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS Certification (AHA)
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Verification
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) Verification
• Experience in non-invasive imaging for breast conditions is required.
