    • Pay Rate: $83.70/hour
    • Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020–$2,130/week
    • Healthcare Setting: Float Pool – MST units & ED Holds
    • Start Date: 03/24/2026
    • Contract Duration: 8 weeks (through 05/16/2026)
    • Hours: 36 hours/week
    • Shifts per Week: 3
    • Shift: 12-hour nights (night shift RN)
    • Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend & every other holiday
    • Float Requirement: Float between two local campuses and to MST units and ED Holds as needed
    • EMR: Cerner
    • Scrub Color: Navy Blue

    RN Job Requirements (Med Surg Tele / MST)

    • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MST / Med Surg Tele) RN experience
    • License: Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license (must be valid at time of submission)
    • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS/NIH (required)
    • Vaccination: Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
    • Skills: Strong assessment, prioritization, and ability to adapt to changing unit needs and patient acuity

    Responsibilities

    • Provide safe, high-quality patient care for patients assigned to MST / Med Surg Tele units and ED Holds based on daily staffing needs
    • Perform focused assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient condition in accordance with unit standards and scope of practice
    • Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and carry out ordered treatments in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
    • Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and unit workflow
    • Document accurately and efficiently in Cerner EMR to meet clinical, regulatory, and compliance standards
    • Float between campuses/units as needed while maintaining consistent nursing quality and safety standards
    • Attendance expectation: Missed shifts must be made up within the same week when possible; overtime to accommodate make-up shifts is not permitted. If a shift cannot be made up within the same week, the assignment end date may be extended to include missed shift(s).
