- All rates offered are determined by position, years of relevant experience, and employment type
- Rate ranges shown include levels for per diems with no benefits and Independent Contractors
- Compensation is on a per visit basis - Full-time options available (Rates discussed in person)
- Screen, evaluate, and treat facility patients/residents requiring Speech-Language Pathology services
- Implement treatment plans through direct treatment, staff education, and supervision of Speech-Language Pathology staff
- Maintain accurate billing information in line with facility procedures daily
- When necessary, may act as a clinical instructor to SLP students during their clinical residencies
- Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Current and valid NY state license
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in using computers
- Provide preventive services enabling individuals to remain in their homes and avoid nursing home care
- Identify and address patients' goals and needs
- Deliver cost-effective treatments to enhance clients' motion and mobility
- Reduce reliance on medications and offer surgery alternatives
- Develop care plans utilizing various treatment techniques
- Create customized fitness and wellness programs to suit individual patient needs
- Deliver quality, personalized, evidence-based care and proven interventions
- Motivate patients during treatment to optimize their functioning
- Foster healthy lifestyles by enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Collaborate and work with other healthcare professionals
- Evaluate progress and communicate effectively with patients
- Document patient care services
- Valid New York State PT License
- Master's degree from an accredited physical therapy school
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Strong organizational and written skills
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services in line with Physician orders
- Assess patient needs, design, evaluate, and adjust care to achieve Occupational Therapy Interventions goals
- Collaborate with all team members to plan and assess team goals for each patient
- Instruct patient/family/caregivers on the patient's complete Occupational Therapy program
- Advise, consult, and instruct multi-disciplinary team members in specific occupational therapy modalities
- Observe and report patient progress and changes to Physician and relevant team members
- Perform any other assigned duties
- Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy school
- Strong organizational and written skills
- Valid New York State Occupational Therapy License
