is seeking an
Electrical Engineer
to provide technical support to Naval Underwater Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWC) in
Newport, Rhode Island . We are currently looking for a motivated individual to join a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientist.
Job Duties:
Performs investigations and analyses of undersea vehicles and devices.
Performs problem solving to address complex technical challenges and to develop innovative solutions.
Works with engineers and technicians in the design and fabrication of electrical, and/or electronic test devices to be used for undersea investigations.
Performs reverse engineering as an analysis technique and should have the ability to quickly learn new concepts, tools and methodologies.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, or related technical field and two (2) or more years experience.
PCB design experience with design tool such as Altium and/or KiCad
Familiarity with embedded systems (microcontrollers, microprocessors, FPGAs, etc).
Experience with modeling and analysis techniques
Experience with analog/digital circuitry
Ability to read and create schematics
Experience with MatLab
Programming ability in C++
Ability to obtain US DoD Secret Security Clearance and willingness to obtain higher level clearance
SAICaccepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.

SAICdoes not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
