- General Purpose: Utilizing DFA tractor and trailer to transport raw milk from depot to processing plant
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- - Operates a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations, and policies, adhering to all safety practices
- - Follows dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, traveling to transport raw milk
- - Minimizes truck idle times and conserves fuel consumption
- - Verifies proper documentation to validate load delivery and destination
- - Disassembles, cleans, and re-assembles trailer pumps to maintain proper cleanliness at a food-grade level
- - Represents DFA positively and professionally during interactions with customers or regulatory personnel

- Requirements:
- - Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred, current CDL (Class A) in state of residence, tanker endorsement, 2 years of tractor/trailer experience in the last 5 years
- - Must be at least 23 years old and meet all DOT requirements
- - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: DOT procedures, effective communication in English, basic math skills, accurate volume and weight measurement, organization and record-keeping skills, punctuality
