    Automotive Service Technicians

    Clay Cooley Volkswagen of Park Cities is currently seeking skilled, experienced, and self-motivated Automotive Service Technicians to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in diagnostics and repairs across various areas, including specialized areas of repair.

    Key Job Functions:

    • Conducts inspections and diagnoses maintenance and repairs on vehicles. Collaborates with the Shop Foreman and provides labor time estimates to the Service Advisor.
    • Handles transmission and fuel component repairs.
    • Checks fluid levels, replaces oil and filters.
    • Performs tire mounting and rotation.
    • Installs batteries and belts.
    • Repairs cooling systems, steering, and suspension.
    • Conducts pre-delivery inspections.
    • Ensures ongoing vehicle functionality and longevity according to dealership policies on customer vehicle care.

    Employee Requirements:

    • Completion of onboarding process within specified timeframe
    • Proficient in mechanical repairs, preferably ASE certified. Compensation based on experience.
    • Familiarity with complex vehicle electronic systems.
    • Ability to understand and interpret documentation and communicate effectively.
    • Adherence to safety protocols in designated areas, maintaining a clean work environment in line with company policies.
