    The Software Engineer position will be responsible for hands-on development as well as lead the development of Next Generation Enterprise solutions for Global eCommerce.

    SE will be responsible for application development in support of the multi-platform roadmap.

    Responsible for application architecture, ensure high performance, scalability and availability for those applications.

    Minimum Qualifications-Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems

    7+ years of experience in eCommerce Software development

    7+ years of programming experience in architecting highly scalable & performing Web Applications

    5+ years of experience with Open Source technologies

    4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must

    2+ years of experience with integrating 3rd party solutions in existing architecture

    4+ years of developing / architecting high transaction high throughput systems is a must

    2+ years of experience in agile ways of working in a distributed geographical model

    Additional Preferred Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline


    Additional Information:
    What are the top 3 skills needed/required? Java, NoSQL(Cassandra/Couchbase), Maven, Kubernetes.


    What skills and/or experience would separate the top candidate? Hand On Experience around design patterns in Java would separate them with others.

    Knowledge of Python is plus.

    What will this person's day-to-day responsibilities be? They will be coding in Java and interacting with others teams on contracts and designs.

    What is the project this person will be working on? This will be on Client Personalization Platform

    Does the candidate need to be in a certain Client location/hub or remote? Sunnyvale(860 building - Tuesday and Thursdays)

    responsibilities:

    Areas of responsibility include:

    • Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards
    Drives technical vision and influences product roadmap and vision

    Implement large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects

    Leads the discovery phase of large projects to develop high level design

    Supervise the work of cross-functional groups of engineers, including offshore associates

    Directs root cause analysis of critical business and production issues

    Documents testing and maintenance of application corrections and improvements

    Influence decisions, builds consensus, and resolves conflicts constructively and proactively

    Supports business objectives and ensures the business needs are being met

    What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

    Will be working primarily as Java developer or engineer working on development in spring platform.


    Tasks would include Implementation of core platform capabilities around product recommendations and content optimizations to enable personalization to broader applications.

    Will collaborate with external and internal partners for contracts, code reviews.
