Jefferson Animal Hospital Fern Creek is a full service AAHA accredited Animal Hospital. We are dedicated to the practice of Low Stress Handling allowing us to make sure that every client and patient has a great experience.
Who we are: We perform preventative care, routine and dental surgery, and long term medical case management. We are dedicated to promoting the human/animal bond and are passionate about preventative care. We are a teaching hospital with lots of opportunities to learn and grow your skills. Cross training is available and encouraged. We work closely with our sister hospital - Jefferson Animal Hospital and Regional Emergency Center and Fern Creek employees are encouraged to cross train there as well as work some holidays at that location.
What you will do: You will be part of a team that helps every owner to understand what excellent care looks like for their individual pet. You will be providing reassurance, delivering education and doing many other things to support the human/animal bond.
You will have an active role in helping us deliver the best care and service to the animals in our community. You will have opportunities to contribute suggestions and ideas to help us improve. And most importantly, you will have opportunities to learn and grow in your skills and knowledge. You will help us grow as a team of caring veterinary professionals whose goals include providing service and care that exceeds our clients expectations, delivering high quality veterinary care and supporting clients caring for their pets who might need special handling or are managing their pet's long term illnesses.
Our team is always looking for ways to feel, at the end of the day, that we did excellent work, improved the lives of the animals that we serve, supported each other and had some fun in the process
We provide the following benefits and opportunities:
$16-$19/hr starting pay based on experience
