- Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room (OR), including preoperative assessment, intraoperative care, and postoperative monitoring.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety during surgical procedures.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe surgical environment.
- Active RN license in New Jersey (or compact state) with at least two years of recent OR experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; CNOR certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to adapt to new environments and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
