Knecht Home Center of Spearfish, a Mead Lumber Company, Inc. is a leading provider of products to professional contractors, construction builders and remodelers. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for assisting customers in locating and purchasing building materials, as well as providing product information and recommendations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized store appearance
Receive, stock, and price merchandise according to company standards
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and efficient manner
Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively assist customers

Requirements & Qualifications:

Construction experience or Construction sales experience preferred.
Must maintain a valid drivers license.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions
Friendly outgoing personality
Able to lift 50lbs
Self motivated and punctual
Good written and verbal communication skills
Problem solving and multi-tasking skills
