    As a
    Project Engineer at Becho Incorporated, reporting to
    the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on California High Speed Rail Construction Package 1, overseeing the construction of drilled shaft foundations.


    Description:

    • Provide support to the Project Superintendent and project leadership and training to the project staff and engineers
    • Track, review and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Owner Payment Applications and, if applicable, claims
    • Monitor job costs, maintain accurate reports and assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing quantity reports, analyzing the labor costs and completing quarterly profit project records
    • Manage the preparation and executing of the Project closeout process
    • Research and propose solutions to quality control issues
    • Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution
    • 4 or more years of construction experience
    • 1 or more years of experience in the construction of drilled shaft foundations

    Preferred but not required:

    • Master's degree
    • PE registration
    • Estimating and CAD experience

    Expected salary range for this position is K depending on experience.
