Our client in Dallas, TX has an opening for a Desktop Engineer. This is a full time, direct hire role with a very well established company.


Job Summary:
Desktop Engineer


Platform Management:
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals across Windows and macOS environments.
Deploy and manage iOS devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
Configure user profiles, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory.
Maintain and update device software and applications.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on all platforms.
Proactively identify and address potential issues to minimize downtime.


Technical Support:
Provide first-line and advanced support to users across all platforms.
Diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently and effectively.
Document support interactions for future reference and improvement.
Train and educate users on new technologies and best practices.


Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other IT teams to address complex technical challenges.
Maintain clear and concise communication with users and colleagues.
Collaborate on developing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
