Description
ResponsibilitiesTax Activity
Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe.
Tax Return Processing - Responsible for all aspects of tax return processing; evaluate and implement electronic filing and payment options; evaluate and implement the most effective means available for processing transactions; maintain lock-box collection of tax payments.
Identify and mitigate tax risks.Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests.
Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual indirect tax returns for Company's US and international operations.
Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
Conduct tax research to ensure processes are aligned with changing laws.
Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
Clients
Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting, and expertise.
Keep firm leadership and client management informed on the progress of the engagement as well as any important issues discovered that need resolution.
Research tax issues and findings that may impact clients' federal, state and local tax planning projects.Advise clients on critical issues that impact their financial portfolio and provide solutions and quality tax service to the clients' satisfaction.
Participate in client grow and new business development opportunities when required.Management
Plan for and develop overall return calendar and coordinate timing and inputs with tax team.
Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance.
Assist in preparing and maintaining the quarterly and annual income tax provision, including all related tax disclosures.
Training tax team members on Tax code updates.
Manage members of the tax team as they prepare components of the company's US federal income tax return and other tax documents.
Manage and coordinate tax audits.Review the functionality in the internal Application.
Reporting
Find and report opportunities for process improvement in company tax procedures.
Prepare, review and report year-end and quarterly analysis.
Responsible for documentation, analysis, and proper reporting of tax issues.
Other
Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a tax manager
CPA is recommended.
BA in Accounting or MA in Taxation.
Excellent knowledge of taxation, tax filing, tax planning and compliance.
Knowledge of tax software and MS Office
Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
Exceptional client service along with the ability to develop excellent client relationships.
Strong leadership and personnel management skills
Analytical skills with detail orientation
