    • Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
    • Orientation: 40 Hours
    • Facility Bed Size: 36 Beds
    • Work Location: 5419 N Lovington Hwy, Hobbs, NM 88240

    Job Responsibilities

    • Review and verify medication orders in Epic
    • Perform clinical dosing (renal, cardiac, anticoagulation, warfarin, pharmacokinetics)
    • Conduct therapeutic drug monitoring
    • Provide inpatient medication management across all age groups (Neonates to Geriatrics)
    • Prepare and verify IV medications using sterile technique
    • Perform sterile compounding
    • Utilize Pyxis medication dispensing system
    • Provide clinical recommendations to interdisciplinary care team

    Requirements

    • Active RPh License – Required
    • Minimum 1 Year of Inpatient Pharmacist Experience – Required
    • Epic Experience – Required
    • IV Certification – Preferred
    • Community Hospital Experience – Preferred
    • Must be comfortable covering call after hours
