    JOB DESCRIPTION:


    Continuously improve and expand our market-leading GaN Power Epiwafer production process while maintaining a high quality, and reliability (Q&R) standard.

    Leads a team of other MOCVD engineers.
    Supervise material characterization and improve defect metrology and GRR capability.
    Interact with Manufacturing, Device, and Development groups to organize growth priorities and wafer deliveries.
    Extract and investigate data from multiple databases to provide concise presentations for tool owners and section leads.
    Reports on yield metrics to management on a regular basis.
    Analyze data from multiple modules (epi, fab, package) systematically for yield engineering and continuous improvement.

    A self-motivated individual willing to work a flexible M-F schedule and, in addition, after-hours on-call support on an as-needed basis.

    Leads a team of other MOCVD engineers.

    On-site attendance is an essential job function, though some remote work on a case-by-case basis is possible after 6 months.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,


    ABILITIES:
    Extensive experience with statistical process monitoring and control required. Experience with JMP software a plus.
    Ability to interact and extract data from SQL databases. Experience with programming languages like Python a plus.

    Excellent communication and writing skills as well as an ability to interface with various levels of staff from management to engineering to technicians.

    Experience in DMAIC, Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing in cross-functional teams a plus.
    Experience with process change control and risk management preferred.
    An enthusiasm and ability to learn new skills and processes and to drive performance improvements.
    Experience in WIP / MES / or similar semi-fab software tools a plus.
    This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.


    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
    At least 5 years of experience in semiconductors, a production environment, and/or an MOCVD environment.

    The expected base pay range for this position is $140,000 - $175,000.

    This base pay range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant knowledge or training.
