    This is a Full-Time position for Maple: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

    Pay Rate $24.00/hr

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    Preform all activities in job description of Residential Counselor.

    Supervise and participate in the direct care tasks to residents and ensure a healthy and safe environment.

    Assure the effective and efficient delivery of residential care services to the residents by direct care staff.

    Plan, schedule and assign shift activities and job duties to direct care staff. Ensure that on days off direct care staff assignments have been planned and communicated to ensure there is no laps in the continuity or consistency of care provided to residents.

    Provide oversight of program to ensure quality of services being delivered to residents ensuring that plan of care is being followed by direct care staff. Communicate concerns or ideas for organizational efficiency to the IRA Coordinator.

    Implement and ensure adherence of agency policy and resident care plans as related to the direct care staff ensuring that all resident's wellbeing, safety, rights are being met.

    Facilitate regular family contact via phone, invites to special events, holiday gifts/cards etc.

    Complete daily documentation checks of residents goals, maintain necessary records and prepare reports as requested by the IRA Coordinator.

    In conjunction with the IRA Coordinator developing/facilitate trainings, oversee the development/training and evaluating of new direct care staff.

    Submit weekly order for household, kitchen, grocery and recreational supplies need for program

    Manage resident and household money and complete weekly petty cash reconciliation

    Assist with Scheduling for program when needed

    Preform Duties according to the highest ethical and moral standards and in adherence with the facilities corporate compliance plan and all applicable governing laws.

    Preform any other duties as requested by the IRA Coordinator or designee.

    Job Requirements:

    Qualification:

    High-school diploma or equivalent required

    1 year experience working in an OPWDD setting preferred

    Certification in OPWDD medication administration preferred

    Current NYS driver's license Approved Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review and ability to drive agency vehicles

    Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
