    Looking for detail oriented, driven, and proactive individuals who can cultivate a friendly atmosphere at our Joyhouse Coffee shop in Bismarck, ND. We have a desire to be a quality coffee shop inside of a healthy, welcoming church. This will not be your typical church coffee shop, so forget everything you think about church coffee. Ultimately, our greatest desire is for everyone near or far to experience the joy of being in Gods house.

    Non-negotiables (about you)

    Willingness to understand the quality aspects of coffee brewing and serving and uphold a high standard for coffee

    People person who enjoys meeting and getting to know new people

    Problem solving skills

    Dependable and able to make good decisions

    Enjoy being challenged to learn and grow

    Responsibilities

    Friendly service and conversation with customers

    Maintain cleanliness in your work area and in the coffee shop

    Guide customers if they are new or unfamiliar with the menu

    Create quality coffee and tea drinks within a reasonable amount of time

    Keep track of inventory; what is in stock and what is running low

    Ability to help train baristas-in-training and perform quality checks

    All duties involved with opening and closing the shop

    Education/Experience

    No experience or education required

    Every new hire will be a barista-in-training and will undergo a few weeks of training in order to ensure quality. After passing a series of tests or quality checks the person will then be moved to a barista role.

    *(5-17hrs/ week)

    *Hourly pay based on training and experience
