- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
- Give treatments, performs tests, carries out procedures and collects specimens as instructed.
- Report and record observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures, and specimens when indicated.
- Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
- Answer signal lights promptly.
- Change bed linens, make beds and keeps rooms clean and orderly
- Works as a member of the team.
- Gets along well with co-workers.
- Accepts change in a positive manner.
- Successful completion of a State approved geriatric nursing assistant training program. Prior geriatric nursing restorative aide experience is required. Registration with State registry required
